Aura

Majority of people experience migraine headaches without aura. Each of these signs generally starts gradually, builds up over several minutes, and then typically lasts for 20 to 60 minutes. examples of aura consist of:

  • vision loss
  • pointed pins and sharp needles sensations in an arm or leg
  • speech or language problems (aphasia)

Attack

  • Alcohol, specifically red wine
  • Caffeine, tea and coffee
  • Food additives, along with MSG
  • Aspartame
  • Chocolate
  • Aged cheeses
  • Nuts
